Developed for designing documents created from Cameo data, Document Director allows the Cam operator to create document templates based on user preferences for standard laser or inkjet printing. Any document can be created that extracts data from Cameo reducing stationary design or printing costs.
Document Director is a windows-based application that monitors a folder for print documents sent from Cameo, converting them into a pre-formatted design from the template already created.
Document Director inserts or moves pictures, watermarks, and fields in a very flexible way, with finished products looking like pre-printed documents, but without the associated costs. It supports multiple layouts by printer and can print simultaneous multi-copy documents from different printer trays.
Additionally the user can email, export or fax a document with the relevant status and action being recorded in Cameo accordingly.
Document Director will support barcode printing and convert documents to a variety of formats such as .PDF / .JPEG / .HTML / .XML / .XLS. However, you will need the resident application present if you then decide you want to modify the documents in any way.
If minor adjustments to a document are required, then our helpline will assist in modifications as necessary, however, please note that more detailed document changes that may require our assistance will incur some configuration cost.
